Day 1: Arrival in Paro – The Land of the Thunder Dragon

Arrive at Paro International Airport, where your Bhutan Lhome Adventure team will warmly welcome you.

Evening walk through Paro town, soaking in the serene valley and local life.

Day 2: Paro Festival (Tshechu) – A Living Cultural Spectacle

Witness the grandeur of Paro Tshechu, one of Bhutan’s most famous festivals.
Experience sacred Cham dances, mask performances, and ancient rituals performed by monks and laymen.
Interact with locals dressed in vibrant traditional attire, creating a kaleidoscopic scene of devotion and celebration.

Day 3: Tiger’s Nest Monastery – Bhutan’s Spiritual Icon

Embark on a hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), clinging dramatically to a cliff at 3,000 ft.
Visit sacred meditation caves and learn about Guru Rinpoche’s legacy.
Return to Paro and relax at your hotel.

Day 4: Paro – Thimphu (Capital Experience)

Scenic drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital (approx. 1.5 hours).

Evening free to explore cafés and local craft markets.

Day 5: Thimphu Festival (Tshechu) or Cultural Exploration

Depending on the season, witness Thimphu Tshechu, the largest festival in Bhutan, celebrated at Tashichho Dzong courtyard.
Observe monks performing sacred dances, locals gathering for blessings, and the unveiling of the Thongdrol, a giant religious tapestry.
If visiting off-festival season, enjoy cultural workshops – traditional painting, calligraphy, or archery lessons.

Day 6: Thimphu – Punakha via Dochu La Pass

Drive to Punakha through Dochu La Pass (3,100 m), offering stunning views of the Eastern Himalayas.

Short hike to Chimi Lhakhang, the fertility temple dedicated to Lama Drukpa Kunley.

Day 7: Punakha Festival (Drubchen / Tshechu) – The Living History
